Steam Offline Instruction

Please follow the instructions carefully!

After completing your purchase, go to your personal account.
In the "Purchases" section, you can find the login credentials for your Steam account.

Step-by-step guide:

✅ 1. Open Steam

Install the Steam application on Windows if it’s not already installed.

✅ 2. Sign in to Steam

Use the login and password you received after purchase.
Check “Remember me”.

❗If Steam asks for a one-time Steam Guard code when signing in, you can obtain it in your personal account section. Open the purchased game and click the "Get code" button.

✅ 3. Disable Remote Play

Open Steam settings, go to Remote Play, and uncheck Enable Remote Play to turn it off.

✅ 4. Install the game

Find the game in your library and start the installation.

✅ 5. Disable Steam Cloud

To keep your progress saved locally and avoid data loss, disable Steam Cloud synchronization:
• Right-click the game in your library → <strong>Select “Properties” → Uncheck “Keep game saves in the Steam Cloud for [game name]”.

✅ 6. Launch the game and minimize it

• Launch the game from Steam
• Wait until the main menu appears
• Minimize the game using Alt + Tab (do not close it)

✅ 7. Block Steam through Windows Firewall

To fully disconnect Steam from the internet and secure the activation:

1. Open the Start Menu
2. Search for Windows Defender Firewall
3. Open it

Or alternatively, go to:
Privacy & Security → Windows Security → Open Windows Security → Firewall & Network Protection
Scroll down and click "Advanced settings".

In the new window, select "Outbound Rules".

⚠️ Attention!

You must create the rule for Outbound connections.

Click "New Rule…".

Select "Program">, then click Next.

Specify the path to Steam:

• Default path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe
• If installed elsewhere, enter the correct path (e.g., E:\Steam\steam.exe)

Click Next, then select "Block the connection".

Check all profiles: Domain, Private, and Public.

Enter a clear name, such as: Block Steam, and click Finish.

✅ Rule created! Steam's internet connection is now completely blocked.

✅ 8. Return to the game

Go back to the minimized game window and continue playing.

Do not disable the firewall rule or go online until you finish your session.

Important:

If you decide to switch accounts or sign out and try to sign back in, you will not be able to do so until you disable the firewall rule you created earlier.

To temporarily disable the rule after finishing your session:

1. Find the created rule → Right-click → Disable

Do not delete the rule.

For subsequent game sessions, repeat the process:

1. Launch the game
2. Minimize the game and enable the firewall rule
3. Return to the game and play

After finishing, you can disable the rule again.

Key reminders:

• ✅ Make sure you blocked Steam, not the game itself.
• ✅ Always launch the game online first, then block the connection.
• ✅ Do not disconnect your entire internet — this may cause errors.
